In 2008 the Dutch building constructor Johan Huibers personally began to construct a biblical true-size Ark of Noah, which he successfully completed four years later. Before this Ark, he already had build a half seize replica of the Ark of Noah. Since the completion of the new 1:1 seize Ark, it has been situated in port of Dordrecht in The Netherlands for multiple years now.

The replica of the Ark of Noah is docked in Dordrecht and is open to the public.

‘Stichting’ Ark van Noach is a Dutch registered non-profit ANBI Foundation located in The Netherlands. The Ark of Noah has been used by the Foundation as vehicle to obtain its mission statements.
